Pat Arabajian ('650 and Frank Panico ('66)

When we published the photo below from the Bro.
Norman archives and joked about how "close" the dancers were, little did we
realize how close they really were.

Turns out the
couple is Frank Panico (66) and Pat Arabajian (65). They had been
going steady since 1963 (not sure when the photo was taken). After Frank
returned from Vietnam in 1970 (earning a Bronze Star for bravery, we may
add), they were married. That's them on the right. Unfortunately
Frank passed away 10 days short of their 29th Anniversary.
A great couple and another Mater Christi love story ! |
